Every monument is unique, and size plays an important role when determining the care, time, and preservation approach required. Below is a simple guide to help you understand how we classify headstones and monuments for quoting and service purposes.
Flat headstones refer to markers that are set flush with the ground or resting directly on the ground with a small hearth or base. While lower in profile, these stones still require careful, preservation-safe cleaning to protect their lettering and surface.
If a monument includes multiple flat stones within the same family plot, we offer discounted pricing on the flat markers when quoting the monument as a whole. We believe in caring for the entire family space with fairness and respect.
If a headstone or monument is higher than 36”, please contact us directly for custom pricing. Taller monuments require additional time, equipment, and care considerations.
